Earlier this week, nearly 300 volunteers attended Liberty Science Center’s 20th Annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner where they received certificates of appreciation in acknowledgement of their valuable contributions to the Center.

Two volunteers were presented with the Patrice Connolly Volunteer award: Lylliam Gil, a Jersey City resident who has donated over 1,270 hours since August 2007; and Lorely Solano, a Dickinson High School student from Jersey City who has donated over 530 hours since April 2012. Jency John, an NJIT student earning her master’s degree in biomedical engineering, was named Intern of the Year. Jency has donated almost 800 hours since May 2012.
