We want to say THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the Thanksgiving Food Drive last week at LSC After Dark: Pizza Party!

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we collected 286 lbs of food and $1200.95 in monetary donations.

This food drive was held in honor of Allison Sillence, LSC’s former Associate Director of Volunteer Development, who passed away earlier this year.

A beloved colleague for ten years, Allison’s work mentoring the volunteers and interns helped further our mission and strengthen our community. She continued to focus on serving others after leaving LSC when she joined the Interfaith Food Pantry Network, an organization dedicated to providing individuals with access to food, education and other resources.
