Liberty Science Center is thrilled to be part of Camp TV, a new one-hour public television series from the WNET Group!
Every week, Camp TV brings the day camp experience to children nationwide – and LSC’s planetarium presentations are featured in the program! In the show, our planetarium educator Andrew (who you may have seen in our Facebook live streams) presents a different space program. Topics include planets, stars, the Moon, and galaxies.
The show is hosted by a head counselor played by Zachary Noah Piser, a Broadway performer (“Dear Evan Hansen,” “Wicked”) who guides campers as they learn through play. In addition to LSC’s space programs, the show includes presentations on nature, art, storytelling, writing, and more.
In the New York metro area, Camp TV airs Mondays at 10:00 AM on WLIW21; 11:00 AM on THIRTEEN; and 12:00 PM on NJTV. Episodes are also available to stream at camptv.org.
