We just had our first "promposal" in the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium, the largest planetarium in the Western Hemisphere!

It all went down Wednesday, April 18 at our Volunteer Recognition Dinner, our annual celebration of LSC's volunteers. 16-year-old Neil Mehta stood in front of a packed theater filled with his fellow LSC volunteers and asked the question to Emaan Ayub.

Neil and Emaan met last year as participants in LSC's Teen Summer Docent Program, so of course it only made sense that Neil would ask her right here at the Science Center. Congratulations!
