Tonight, Liberty Science Center is traveling back to the ‘90s!

Our next LSC After Dark event for guests 21+ is “‘90s Night" (click here for tickets!) and the building will be packed with activities and experiments inspired by the decade. We’re also teaming up with Midnight Market NJ again to provide delicious food plates from local vendors for only $5.

1) Slime!

In true ‘90s Nickelodeon style, the event is going to have plenty of slime. Join us for our Slime Lab to learn more about the science behind the sticky, gooey creation.

Some very lucky guests will also have the opportunity to get slimed in front of a crowd!

2) Free Zima tasting

We’re really taking it back to the ‘90s with a delicious Zima tasting, courtesy of Jersey Wine and Spirits.

3) Free slap bracelets for the first 150 guests

Show up to LSC After Dark early! The first 150 guests will receive free slap bracelets, the perfect '90s accessory.

4) ‘90s tech take-apart

There will be lots of old, ‘90s technology at the party – think VCRs, floppy disks, Tamagotchis, etc. – and guests will have the opportunity to take them apart and learn about the pieces that made these machines work.

5) Pog competition

Remember pogs? They're back! (Well, for one night, anyway).

6) Get a ‘90s makeover

School of Makeup Effects is joining us this month to give out ‘90s makeovers! Rock a nostalgic look, either frosted or grungy.

(They've got looks for both guys and girls, FYI!)

7) Where's Waldo? game

We have hidden six Waldos around the building! If you find one, bring it to our emcee and he will give you a prize.

8) Food plates from Midnight Market NJ for only $5

Midnight Market NJ is partnering with us again this month to provide delicious food plates from local vendors. The vendors include Eemas Cuisine, Luke’s Empanadas, MozzArepas, Taste of Poland JC, Delenio, Yani’s Bake House, Ben & Jerry’s, Eat My Balls Food Truck, Sisig City, and Moffle Bar.

Best of all, each food plate is only $5! Cash only, please.

9) Weird Al Laser Show

Our laser show this month highlights a true ‘90s superstar: “Weird Al” Yankovic!

10) Last chance to experience Wildlife Challenge

Experience one of our most popular outdoor adventures, Wildlife Challenge, before it closes for the season.

Could you survive as a wild animal living among the streets, sidewalks and sewer pipes of the urban jungle? At Wildlife Challenge, you’ll crawl, climb and claw your way through tests that animals face every day.

11) Indoor exhibits

In addition to Wildlife Challenge, all of Liberty Science Center’s popular indoor exhibits will be open at the event, including Touch Tunnel, Infinity Climber, Eat and Be Eaten, and Our Hudson Home.

12) Martini Bar

Channel your inner Carrie Bradshaw with a cosmopolitan at the Martini Bar! Enjoy these refreshing cocktails, as well as beer and wine, all throughout the night.

13) Rock the dance floor!

Dance your heart out to your favorite ‘90s hits with DJ Dancing Tony.
