This entire month is a Cosmic Celebration!

LSC News

Liberty Science Center is now home to the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium, the largest and most technologically advanced planetarium in the Western Hemisphere. And to celebrate, we’re throwing a month-long, out-of-this-world cosmic celebration!

Starting Dec. 9, we’re bringing out the telescopes, gyroscopes, and more for astronomical activities and adventures. Spin into physics on rotational stools. Attempt to perform basic tasks with astronaut gloves. Feel moon sand, watch us whip up a mini-comet, and learn to handle a telescope like a pro.

Enrich your space journey with a live planetarium show in the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium. Travel to worlds beyond our own in LSC’s super-premium exhibition, Star Trek: The Starfleet Academy Experience.

Young learners can also learn about life in space in our newest We Explore adventure, “Space Station Liberty,” where they’ll get to dress up like an astronaut, control a space station, and collect and study space materials.

Don’t miss the fun! Cosmic Celebration runs from Dec. 9 through Jan. 1.
