Meet our friend, Mickey! Mickey the green-winged macaw – who guests love meeting on the third floor in Eat and Be Eaten – recently had the chance to explore our new exhibition, Wild Kratts: Creature Power!
Mickey asked to get in on the fun, and so we brought him over for a visit to the exhibition inspired by the popular PBS Kids series.
In this interactive adventure, Mickey stopped by four unique habitats: Antarctica, Australian Outback Desert, North America, and (Mickey's very own habitat!) the tropical rainforest.
In Antarctica, Mickey disguised himself as one of the penguins, where he learned different penguin calls. But don’t worry, he didn’t fool us! In this part of the exhibition, guests can learn different penguin calls and slide like an emperor penguin down the slide.
Mickey then visited North America, where he got to feed a frog with all sorts of bugs! All you have to do is sling shot the bugs into the frog’s mouth.
Another cool part of the North America section is that guests can listen to different "calls of the wild," including sounds from birds and insects.
Don't let Mickey be the only one to have fun! Wild Kratts: Creature Power! is open through May 31, 2020. Come join the Kratt Brothers and Mickey on this creature adventure! Click here to learn more.
